The president of the republic of Ghana has reiterated his stance on the issue of LGBTQI+ Legalization that’s become a hot topic following the opening of an LGBTQ office in Accra.
Speaking at the installation of the 2nd Archibishop of the Anglican church at Asante Mampong, the president said Ghanaians should rest assured his government will never legalise same sex marriage.
“It will not be under the presidency of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that same sex marriage will be legalized in Ghana” he said.
The LGBTQ office opened at a location in the Tesano neighborhood was closed down on the instruction of the president following public uproar on the news of the opening of the office. Watch the video below.
