Former president and flagbearer of the opposition NDC, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has said if voted into power on December 7th 2020, he will construct a domestic airport in the Upper East region.
Highlighting some major promises in the NDC 2020 manifesto at an event held at UPSA, John Mahama promised to build an airport for the region to receive domestic flights.
He said under his erstwhile government, a land was secured for the construction of the airport for but the current government didn’t pursue the prospect.
In related promises, the former president said his future government will inject $10 billion into construction all over the country, a promise dubbed “The Big Push”. Watch a live feed of the Manifesto launch below.
