Nigerians have descended heavily on the president of the republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for releasing a statement yesterday in which he touched on the measures taken by Nigerian president Buhari to fix the situation in his country.
Nana Akufo-Addo had been under intense pressure from netizens to speak to the shooting of unarmed EndSars protesters in Lekki toll gate on Tuesday night by military on the instruction of the government.
Nana Addo in his statement said he had spoken with his counterpart, Nigerian president Muhamadu Buhari on the EndSars issues and got his assurance that he is committed and has already taken measures to address their concerns.
“I join all well-meaning persons in calling for calm, and the use of dialogue in resolving the #EndSARS impasse in Nigeria. I have spoken with President Buhari, who is committed to this end, and has begun the processes that will lead to reform.” The statement read.
Well in response, Some Nigerian netizens have said they don’t need the leader of a nation that’s not even bigger than Lagos state to address them in the face of their own leader’s deafening silence.
Others said the president was a miracle worker as he spoke with Buhari who they consider dead. SWIPE below to read some of the comments.
