The vice president of the Republic of Ghana, his Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has slammed the opposition NDC and its flagbearer, former president John Mahama for copying the ideas of the NPP.
Speaking at a Durbar in Wa, the capital of the Upper West Region, Dr. Bawumia said the NDC in its 2020 manifesto launched on Monday, copied NPP’s ideas including even those already implemented by this administration.
He added that the NDC may have the ability to copy their ideas but what they should know is they cannot copy the current government’s performance and the NPP’s track record.
The vice president cited the NDC’s promise of paying Arabic teachers in Islamic schools, saying the Kuffour administration started the payment but was canceled during the erstwhile Mahama-NDC administration which the current government have restored. Watch a live feed from the Durbar in Wa below.
